Terra Sigillata // 4-day workshop with Bert draait door
July 28, 29, 31st & August 1st // 4-day workshop Terra Sigillata with Bert from Bert draait door.
Terra Sigillata is one of the most ancient techniques of working with clay. During this week, we will learn how to make Terra Sigillata. We will throw or build pots, polish them, apply the Terra Sigillata, and perform two decorative firings. For this, we will use a smoke chamber or muffler, and we will create a paper kiln together.
Shaping the Sacred // clay & cacao ceremony
The journey begins with a heart-opening Cacao ceremony. We then channel this energy into crafting our own ceremonial cacao cups, shaped by hand using Belgian clays in earthy tones. The experience concludes with a nourishing sound journey, guided by supported touch, helping to integrate the energy from cacao, clay, and sound.
One Day of Clay
Join us for a relaxing day of pottery. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this workshop offers a peaceful and creative space where we’ll be immersed in both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques. Enjoy a homemade organic lunch, followed by a walk along the river through nature.
